Joe is an experienced criminal defense attorney dedicated to vigorously protecting the rights of individuals facing criminal charges in Florida. With a strong foundation in prosecution, he brings invaluable insight into the strategies and perspectives of the opposing side, allowing him to anticipate and effectively counter prosecutorial tactics on behalf of his clients.
Joe earned his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2015. Before attending law school, he gained early legal experience working as a legal assistant in South Florida. He went on to graduate from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2022. While in law school, he was a member of the Mock Trial Team and competed at the national level.
Following law school, Joe briefly practiced in insurance defense before joining the Office of the State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit (serving Pinellas and Pasco Counties), where he served as a prosecutor. In that role, he handled a wide range of cases, from misdemeanors such as simple possession and DUI to serious felonies including murder. As a prosecutor, Joe honed his courtroom skills, successfully trying numerous cases before juries and developing a deep understanding of Florida’s criminal justice system.
Joe is committed to providing strategic, personalized defense to clients at every stage of the criminal process. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys fishing, golf, exploring craft beers, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
